Type 2 SRL

A Type 2 SRL which has been uniquely designed, should be specified for use in applications where a user is transferring from a moving platform, such as a vessel, for example for access to lower ladders found on wind turbine TP’s.
The Type 2 SRL has been specifically designed to increase the required activation speed, thus taking into account a nominal level of movement due to the actions of ocean swell (found to work up to a maximum wave height of 1.5 metres, other factors may affect lock on). This enables a user to safely attach to the SRL whilst remaining on the moving platform before transferring onto the TP boat landing ladder.
